PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable wheelchair which has high straight advancing property and durability even when being given load and shock and is highly safe.SOLUTION: Casters 7, 7 and main wheels 8, 8 are mounted in both end parts of a chassis 3 in which lateral frame members 32, 32 are bridged between a pair of longitudinal frame members 31, 31 placed in parallel at a distance in the width direction of a wheelchair. To surrounding surfaces of ceiling parts at one-side end parts of the longitudinal frame members 31, 31, lower ends of leg part frame members 52, 52 are joined in such a way that they can turn around shafts parallel to the lateral frame members 32 to be the width direction of the chassis 3. The leg part frame members 52, 52 are divided into first leg part frame members 521, 521 and second leg part frame members 522, 522 in the longitudinal-direction middle positions of the leg part frame members, and the first leg part frame members 521, 521 and the second leg part frame members 522, 522 are joined to each other by bending means 9, 9 which can be bent in the prescribed direction. |
