PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of accurately determining the image displacement amount even when image collapse occurs to a pupil split image due to saturation.SOLUTION: An image processing device processes image signals obtained from an imaging element in which a plurality of photo-electric conversion means are arranged corresponding to a microlens. The image processing device further detects whether or not the image signals from the respective photo-electric conversion means corresponding to the single microlens reach a saturation level, and controls whether or not to use correlation of the image signals from the plurality of photo-electric conversion means including the photo-electric conversion means for calculation of the image displacement amount by correlation calculation means according to a detection result of saturation of the photo-electric conversion means.
