PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine plant capable of achieving improvement in power generation output, and achieving electric power equalization by effectively using excess electric power.SOLUTION: A steam turbine plant 10 includes: a boiler 20 for converting water to steam; a steam turbine 21 driven by steam from the boiler 20; a steam condenser 23 for cooling turbine exhaust 28 from the steam turbine 21 with coolant water 30; a second cooler 33 for cooling the coolant water 30; and a feedwater heater 25 for heating feedwater 26 led from the steam condenser 23. The steam turbine plant further includes: a refrigerator 60; a cooling thermal storage tank 44 for cooling configured to store a cooling substance 40 circulated in the second cooler 33 for cooling the coolant water 30, and cool the cooling substance 40 by means of heat absorption in an evaporator of the refrigerator 60; and a heating thermal storage tank 54 for heating configured to store a heating substance 50 circulated in the feedwater heater 25 for heating the feedwater 26, and heat the heating substance 50 by means of heat radiation in a condenser of the refrigerator 60. |
