PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce resonance of a transmission case in a continuously variable transmission and a saddle-ride type vehicle.SOLUTION: A transmission case 21 includes an upper rib 102 connected to a first inner surface 201S and a second inner surface 202S respectively and overlapped with a V-belt 24 in a plan view of the first inner surface 201S. The width of the upper rib 102 in the lateral direction increases as the distance from the second inner surface 202S decreases.
