[Class 110 (i)] The compressor of a gas-turbine plant for propelling aircraft is provided with passages by which compressed air is extracted for conveyance to a pressurized cabin. An annular channel 18 receives air through ports in the diffuser wall astride the discharge tips of the diffuser blades 16. One or more parts 22 are provided with radial passages which open into the channel 18 and with pipe .connections 24. The area of the part of each port in front of the diffuser blade is larger than that behind the blade. |
