PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: a fixing belt 105 is roughened by a roughening roller 400 to recover a surface property of a fixing member in order to prevent glossiness unevenness of images from occurring; and after completion of a roughening operation, when the roughening roller 400 is separated from the fixing belt 105, shavings remain linearly on the fixing belt 105 in association with roughening processing, which may cause an adverse effect on images.SOLUTION: When a roughening roller 400 is separated from a fixing belt 105, air is blown toward a gap between the roughening roller 400 and the fixing belt 105. Accordingly, shavings can be dispersed by the blown air to suppress an adverse effect of the shavings on images. |
