PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk processor which is excellent in the determination of the factor of error rate deterioration.SOLUTION: An optical disk processor includes an optical disk drive, control means, error rate detection means and determination means. The optical disk drive is configured to record recording data in an optical disk, and to read the recording data from the optical disk. The control means instructs the execution of error rate detection processing in a predetermined timing. The error rate detection means is configured to detect the error rate of the read recording data from the recording data read from the optical disk in response to the execution instruction of the error rate detection processing. The determination means is configured to, when the error rate is more than an error rate threshold, acquire the performance index of the optical disk drive, and to, when the performance index is more than a performance index threshold, determine that the factor of error rate deterioration is the optical disk drive, and to, when the performance index is not more than the performance index threshold, determine that the factor of the error rate deterioration is the optical disk. |
