PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform configuration control as required in a duplex device having a redundant configuration.SOLUTION: A duplex device 100 comprises two devices 1 forming a redundant configuration, and the two devices 1 exchange survival information via a network 50 at a predetermined cycle, and also monitor each other's operation state via a control line 20. In a device (own system) 1a, when the survival information from a device (another system) 1b is not received or a code error occurs in the received survival information, a network connection monitoring unit 17 confirms that its own network communication unit 18 is normally operating and also the network 50 is not disconnected, then the device (own system) 1a determines that the device (the other system) 1b has abnormality. Next, in the system (own system) 1a, a power monitoring unit 14 confirms that power of the device (the other system) 1b is turned on, then a signal generation unit 12 transmits information to stop the power of the device (the other system) 1b. |
