摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control apparatus of a hybrid vehicle that can improve fuel consumption while controlling increase in the cost.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus is applied to a hybrid vehicle 1 including: a manual transmission 10 that changes a gear position by operation of a shift lever 30; an MG3 connected to an input shaft 11 of the manual transmission 10 through a friction type first clutch 40 that operates by depress operation of a clutch pedal CP; an internal combustion engine 2 that is connected to the MG3 through a second clutch 41; and a driving wheel 6 that is connected to an output shaft 12 of the manual transmission 10 in a power transmission capable manner. When switching the second clutch 41 to a release state, and an EV drive mode to drive the vehicle 1 by the MG3 is executed, the lowest gear position rotation speed NinL that is the rotation speed of the input shaft 11 when assuming that the gear position of the manual transmission 10 is a first gear speed is calculated and MG3 is controlled so that the value subtracted the lowest gear position rotation speed NinL from the rotation speed of MG3 may become smaller than the upper limit allowable value α.
