PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for prevention of general outbreak of infections and establishment of biological slime, especially urinary tract infections (UTI) including a catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) in medical devices.SOLUTION: Provided is an antimicrobial treatment system including a medical device (for instance, catheter) and an antimicrobial composition containing a specific antibacterial compound. The composition contains an antimicrobially effective amount of at least one of N-halogenated amino acid, a delivative thereof, N-halogenated amino acid source, or a mixture of the delivative of N-halogenated amino acid and the N-halogenated amino acid. The medical device delivers to its inside and/or outside, lining of the bladder, and the urinary tract, and to reduce or exclude the infection, the medical device is irrigated by the composition, the bladder is soaked in the composition, or the bladder is irrigated by the composition. |
