PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of completely and stably confining radioactive cesium, and an object and a disposal field where the radioactive cesium is completely and stably confined.SOLUTION: The method of confining the radioactive cesium includes: a step of generating a kneaded object by kneading a material contaminated by the radioactive cesium, clay, cement and water; a step of storing the kneaded object in a container and closing the container storing the kneaded object; and a step of forming a coating on the entire outer surface of the container by coating the entire outer surface of the closed container where the kneaded object is stored.
