Provided are a method and device for reporting the reference signal receiving power. The method comprises: a base station determining at least one first channel-state information reference signal CSI-RS resource used for a terminal to report the reference signal receiving power RSRP, the first CSI-RS resource containing at least one antenna port group, the antenna port group containing at least one antenna port; the base station sending first CSI-RS resource configuration information to the terminal, the first CSI-RS resource configuration information carrying at least one first CSI-RS resource; and the base station receiving the RSRP of each antenna port group contained in the first CSI-RS resource reported by the terminal. The embodiments of the present invention achieve the purpose of saving the overhead for reporting the RSRP.
