摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably improve output performance and exhaust performance of an internal combustion engine when fresh air blow-by occurs from an intake passage to an exhaust passage via a combustion chamber, with regard to a control device for the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes a turbocharger 20 and an in-cylinder injection valve 32. When the scavenge ratio (AFM passing flow rate/air amount charged in a cylinder) is higher than the air-fuel ratio (theoretical air-fuel ratio/output air-fuel ratio), a first amount Qin of fuel is injected during an intake step, the first amount of fuel being required so that an air-fuel ratio in a cylinder specified in relation to the air amount charged in a cylinder is the output air-fuel ratio. When the scavenge ratio is higher than the air-fuel ratio, a second amount Qex of fuel required so that an exhaust air-fuel ratio is a theoretical air-fuel ratio is injected besides the first amount Qin of fuel, in a predetermined timing during opening of an exhaust valve as a second timing when an injected fuel is not charged in the cylinder.
