The present invention relates to a thrust reverser device for a turbojet engine nacelle comprising a cowl mounted with the ability to effect a translational movement between a closed position which it covers means of deflecting some of the air flow of the turbojet engine and an open position in which it opens a passage and uncovers said deflection means, the mobile cowl being associated with at least one blocking flap mounted with the ability to pivot between a retracted position and a pivoted blocking position corresponding to the open position of the mobile cowl and in which it at least partially closes off a flow duct for the circulation of air through the nacelle, the blocking flap being fitted with at least one lever-forming drive mechanism, characterized in that the drive mechanism comprises at least one adjustable-stiffness shock absorber.
