PURPOSE: Coal charging apparatus with a backflow prevention function is provided to prevent the leakage or backflow of gas, dust, smell, etc. to the utmost during a residual coal process after charging coal. CONSTITUTION: Protection apparatus for a coking chamber of a coke oven includes a mining hopper which mines coal, feeding screw (240), telescoper (200), dust collector (100), connection pipe (210), and main control valve (230). The connection pipe connect the telescoper and the dust collector. The main control valve is installed on the connection pipe. The main control valve is closed when the telescoper descends and charges coal, and the main control valve is open until the telescoper ascends to an end point while processing residual coal. |
