The invention provides a transformer which may significantly reduce heat generated during operation. The transformer comprises a coil rack and a core. The coil rack includes a cylindrical winding portion and a terminal connecting portion, herein coils are wound in the cylindrical winding portion, and the terminal connecting portion is connected with external connection terminals. The core includes an insertion portion and an outer side portion, wherein the insertion portion is inserted into the winding portion; the outer side portion partly surrounds the outside of the winding portion; the core has core gap which is formed by cutting any part of the insertion portion and is disposed at a position eccentrically arranged from the center of the winding portion toward one side of the winding portion. |
