摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-free conductive paste composition for solar cell having excellent electrical characteristics and capable of forming an electrode having long term reliability.SOLUTION: Since the glass frit composing a conductive paste for solar cell is a Bi-B-Zn-based lead-free glass and contains CeO, AgO, MnO, and the like, as an oxidant, when the light-receiving surface electrode 28 of a solar cell 10 is formed by using that glass frit, a lead-free electrode having excellent electrical characteristics, moisture resistance and acid resistance, and high long term reliability is obtained. Intrusion of an electrode material into a pn junction can also be controlled easily. Furthermore, reduction of BiOand precipitation of Bi are suppressed by reduction of an oxidant contained in the glass frit, and since steam or carboxylic acid thus produced reacts on the precipitated Bi and suppresses deterioration of the electrode, excellent moisture resistance and acid resistance, and high long term reliability are attained.
