PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high place measurement work device which is capable of extending and contracting an extension/contraction mechanism in a stable posture, shortens the time of exposing measurement means to a severe environmental condition, and performs highly reliable measurement.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the high place measurement work device includes: an extension/contraction mechanism 5 which is installed inside a building provided with a building high layer part 1 and a building low layer part 4, is extendable and contractable in a height direction, and has such a length that at least an upper end part reaches the building high layer part 1 when extended in the state that a lower end part is installed at the building low layer part 4; a support member 6 which is attached to the extension/contraction mechanism 5, is expandable, is brought into contact with a building wall 3 of the building in an expanded state, and supports the extension/contraction mechanism 5 when extending and contracting the extension/contraction mechanism 5; a guide member 12 which is attached near the upper end part of the extension/contraction mechanism 5 at one end, has such a length that the other end reaches the building low layer part 4 in the state that the extension/contraction mechanism 5 is extended, and has a path formed inside; and a measurement means sending mechanism 13 which sends measurement means 11 to the one end of the guide member 12 from the other end of the guide member 12 through the inside of the guide member 12. |
