PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor actuator that has an inexpensive mechanism for transmitting power from a motor to a driven member.SOLUTION: A motor actuator includes: a drive member 13 that has drive helical teeth 1312; a driven helical gear 15 that has helical teeth that are meshed with the drive helical teeth 1312; a driven member 14 that supports the driven helical gear 15; and load applying members 141 and 142 that apply load to the driven helical gear 15 being rotated. When the drive helical teeth 1312 is rotated, the mesh between the helical teeth and the load applied by the load applying members 141 and 142 produce axial thrust force in the driven helical gear 15. The thrust force presses the driven member 14, which supports the driven helical gear 15, against the drive member 13 so as to generate frictional force. The frictional force allows power from the motor 10 to be transmitted from the drive member 13 to the driven member 14 with a constant bonding force. |
