Disclosed are a network access method and apparatus. The method comprises: a UE receiving WLAN access auxiliary information sent by a 3GPP access network; according to the information, the UE measuring quality of a WLAN radio signal and performing access decision to obtain a decision result; and the UE accessing a WLAN according to the decision result. The present invention can accelerate access of the UE to the WLAN and enable the UE to acquire subsequent data joint transmission and/or services, thereby improving the user experience.
