PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of calculation processing to be executed when detecting a measurement area.SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 is configured to: acquire an image; group pixels similar in a pixel value between adjacent pixels of pixels contained in the image into a sub-pixel area; calculate a connection angle at which a contour pixel is connected to other contour pixel on the sub-pixel area for each contour pixel forming a contour of the grouped area; divide a contour line forming the sub-pixel area at a section at which a change in the connection angle of the contour pixel is within a predetermined threshold value and thereby extract a partial contour line from the contour line; and detect a sub-pixel area with the most intersections of perpendicular lines of the partial contour line from the sub-pixel areas. |
