PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing apparatus for battery electrolyte, more particularly, to provide a mixing apparatus for battery electrolyte which mixes an electrolyte with a low specific gravity and another electrolyte with a high specific gravity by using inertia generated at times of starting and stopping a vehicle so as to prevent stratification phenomena in which the electrolyte with the low specific gravity and the electrolyte with the high specific gravity form separated layers according to the specific gravity of the battery electrolytes.SOLUTION: In a mixing apparatus for battery electrolyte, a passage is formed such that an electrolyte with a low specific gravity is drawn into the mixing apparatus by inertia, and by opposing kinetic energy, the drawn electrolyte with the low specific gravity is moved downwardly in the mixing apparatus. Therefore, the electrolyte with the low specific gravity and an electrolyte with a high specific gravity can be mixed with each other so that an electrode plate assembly can be prevented from corroding, and an overvoltage caused by layering of the electrolytes can be prevented, thereby lifetime of a battery can be extended. |
