Embodiments of the present invention provide a coexistence interference estimation method, a base station, and a user equipment. The method comprises: based on coexistence interference frequency information sent by a base station, a user equipment generating a coexistence interference frequency set according to the position of the user equipment; and performing coexistence interference estimation on frequencies in the coexistence interference frequency set. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce unnecessary terminal overhead, lower the waste of system resources, and improve system performance.
