<p>An exhaust heat recovery device provided with a Rankine cycle, wherein it is possible to improve the startup properties of the Rankine cycle and to efficiently drive (actuate) the Rankine cycle. An exhaust heat recovery device (1) using the exhaust heat of an engine (10) by recovering said exhaust heat contains: a Rankine cycle (2) provided with a heater (22), an expansion device (23), a condenser (24), and a pump (25); a bypass flow path (26) for circulating a refrigerant by bypassing the expansion device (23); a bypass valve (27) for opening and closing the bypass flow path (26); and a control unit (4). The control unit (4) actuates the pump (25) while the bypass valve (27) is open when starting the Rankine cycle (2), and then closes the bypass valve (27) once a parameter representing the condensing capacity of the condenser (24) becomes a predetermined value or higher.</p> |
