In order to improve the precision with which the constituent elements of an application to be synchronized are identified, a computer identifies the constituent elements required when an application is installed, acquires constituent element information indicating the constituent elements of the application from a synchronization server, and transmits constituent elements which are in accordance with the constituent element identification result and the constituent element information to the synchronization server.
