The area has a base stone (10) and sand on which an elongate structure is arranged in a parallel manner. The structure comprises an upper portion (3) and a lower portion (2), where the upper and lower portions are connected to each other by intermediate tapered portions. A space is formed between two adjacent rows of the tapered portions that are filled with a potting compost (12) in which a decorative plant (13) is planted. A stabilization unit (20) is arranged to perform the maintenance of the space between the adjacent rows of the tapered portions to improve the vertical stability.
