PURPOSE: A light converting composite is provided to have improved reliability and durability, and to be easily formed by an emulsion polymerization. CONSTITUTION: A light converting composite(30) comprises a plurality of light conversion particles(31); and beads(32) including hydrophilic polymers and surrounding the light conversion particles; and a capping part surrounding the outer side of the bead. The diameter of the bead is 0.05-1 micron. The hydrophobic polymer is selected from a rubber-based polymer, vinyl-based polymer, and acrylic polymer. A light emitting device includes a light emitting part generating light; and the light converting composites located in the path of the light from the light emitting part. |
