<p>Disclosed are electrochemical methods, apparatus, systems and kits for the detection or monitoring of proteolysis of proteinaceous matrices such as fibrin clots. The methods, apparatus, systems and kits generally include the use of voltammetric techniques to measure the changes in current that result from diffusion of an electroactive species towards an electrode on proteolysis of a proteinaceous matrix.</p> |
