摘要 An electrode binder for lithium secondary battery, a manufacturing method thereof, and an electrode for lithium secondary battery using the same are provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electrode binder for lithium secondary battery comprises a polymer chain including a carboxyl group; and a material containing a catechol group conjugated to the carboxyl group of the polymer chain. According to the present invention, the property of an anode battery composed of silicon nanoparticles is improved using a new organism-derived binder. Especially, the silicon anode including an Alg-C polymer binder shows excellent specific capacity of 3,200 mAhg-1 and excellent cycling property of 200 cycles due to the rigid and adhesive property of the Alg-C binder.
