PURPOSE: A driver protection device is provided to prevent leg injury of a driver due to a brake pedal by rotating compulsorily the brake pedal in collision accidents. CONSTITUTION: A driver protection device comprises a pipe bush(20), a pedal mounting bracket(3), and a slide bracket(30). The pipe bush is integrally connected to the upper part of a brake pedal(1) and comprises a shaft hole so that a pedal hinge shaft(2) penetrates. The pedal mounting bracket is formed on the upper part facing a cowl bracket(5) and comprises a guide hole. The slide bracket is located between the pedal mount bracket and the cowl bracket and is separated from the pedal mounting bracket by being hit by the pipe bush in the collision accident.
