An assembly which assists in positioning a rotatable part 1 in a bracket 4 prior to engagement of a pivot pin 3 comprises guides 6 with shaped surfaces 7 against which bosses 2 provided on the rotatable part can abut (see fig. 2), such that an aperture through the rotatable part 1 and bosses 2 is in axial alignment with apertures on the bracket 4 thus allowing the pivot pin to be inserted through the assembly to rotatably couple the rotatable part to the bracket (see fig. 3). The axis of the pivot pin when inserted is preferably vertical such that the rotatable part rotates within a generally horizontal plane. The rotatable part is preferably part of an arm support means for supporting the arm of a wheelchair user, with the bracket being attached to the wheelchair (not shown) and capable of powered vertical movement relative to the wheelchair. The inclusion of the guide means 6, 7 is intended to make attachment of the arm support means to the wheelchair easier. |
