The motor car (1) has a headliner (2). A lighting device (3) arranged on or adjacent to the headliner is extended over the portion of length or width of the headliner for emitting light to illuminate the partial area of the headliner. An elongated mounting strip having a support for supporting the lighting device is arranged on backside of the headliner. The lighting device is provided with a light guide (4). The retaining strip and mounting strip are interlocked for holding the headliner between each other. |
