<p>An optical transmission window 100 has a sheet of dielectric substrate such as glass 102 that is transparent at an infrared wavelength. A titanium dioxide TiO2 coating 104 is applied to an external surface of the dielectric substrate 102. The titanium dioxide coating 104 has an optical thickness of m plus one half of the infrared wavelength (or half wave), where m is a whole number greater than or equal to zero. The window 100 may also have an anti-reflective coating.</p> |
