A washing machine equipped with: a cabinet (2); an outer tank (9) that is supported inside the cabinet (2) so that vibration is reduced and inside which water is collected; an inner tank (8) that is supported to rotate freely inside the outer tank (9) and in which the laundry is held; a driving device (10) that rotates the inner tank (8); and a water supply means (12) for supplying water into the outer tank (9). In the washing machine, the rinse cycle is executed with water filled inside the outer tank (9) by the water supply means (12) and after draining the water used in said rinse cycle, said inner tank (8) is rotated with the water maintained at a prescribed level (S161-S164). |
