AUTHENTICATION METHOD BASED ON DHCP, DHCP SERVER AND CLIENT

The present invention discloses a DHCP-based authentication method and a DHCP server and client. The method includes: a DHCP server receives a DHCP discover message sent by a DHCP client, where the DHCP discover message includes a URL of a CA and an identifier of the DHCP client; the DHCP server discovers the CA according to the URL of the CA and sends an authorization request which carries the DHCP identifier to the CA; and the DHCP server receives authorization information returned by the CA, where the authorization information includes a certificate of the DHCP client. The present invention applies to DHCP-based authentication.
