PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for paging delegation in heterogeneous networks are provided to easily detect the position of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A transmission and reception unit(212) receives from a terminal a first request message which requests the paging delegation of a first network, and transmits to a paging controller of the second network a second request message which requests the paging delegation. The transmission and reception unit receives from the paging controller a first response message including the result value for the paging delegation request, and transmits a second response message to the terminal. The paging delegation registration unit(214) sets the paging delegation registration information of the terminal in a database based on the first response message. |
