<p>A steam cleaner comprising a cleaning head 10, means 22 for supplying steam to the cleaning head 10 to be emitted thereby; means 30 for supplying a cleaning agent to the cleaning head 10 to be emitted thereby, and control means 34 for controlling the emission of steam and cleaning agent by the cleaning head; wherein the control means 34 is operable to cause or permit the emission of cleaning agent by the cleaning head 10 while the emission of steam from the cleaning head is at least substantially prevented. A single control member 34 may control the supply of both the steam cleaning agent and also the speed of supply pumps 26, 32. The cleaning agent may also be supplied under gravity.</p> |
