<p>A glass sheet cutting method and system (1), whereby a work sheet (2) is fed, on a horizontal supporting surface, in a straight travelling direction (6), and scored and broken into a succession of pieces (12); the pieces (12) are rotated 90° about a vertical axis (14); at least some are transferred to a temporary storage area (24) to form a line of adjacent pieces (12); and the pieces (12) are subsequently positioned contacting respective locating bridges, before being scored and broken simultaneously, along a common cutting line, into a number of smaller pieces (20).</p> |
