The present invention relates to a boom for a high place work vehicle and, more particularly, to a beam equipped in a high place work vehicle for high place work. The boom comprises a first boom which has a certain length, a first hollow, and a rectangular shape, and is equipped to be able to rotate up and down in a high place work vehicle; a second boom which is inserted or withdrawn along the first hollow of the first boom and, has a certain length, a second hollow, and a rectangular shape; a third boom which is inserted or withdrawn along the second hollow of the second boom and, has a certain length, a third hollow, and a rectangular shape; and a fourth boom which is inserted or withdrawn along the third hollow of the third boom and, has a certain length, a fourth hollow, and a rectangular shape. The first, second, and third booms are manufactured of metal while the fourth boom is manufactured of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP). According to the present invention, a boom for a high place work vehicle can reduce the weight thereof by forming the fourth boom of FRP; in turn, the rotation of the entire booms or the insertion or withdrawal of each boom can be easy, and safety accidents such as electrical injuries can be prevented because FRP is an insulation member. |
