PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency snare for an endoscope which enables marking treatment and high frequency incision treatment, etc., to be safely and speedily performed without the risk of mucous membrane perforation by using a rod-like electrode formed at the distal end extension part of a snare loop wire. SOLUTION: The high frequency snare for the endoscope is configured in such a manner that a conductive snare loop wire 2 in which the bending habit of spreading in a loop shape is formed is disposed at the distal end part of an insulating flexible sheath 1, the rod-like electrode 4 is formed at the distal end extension part of the snare loop wire 2 and the snare loop wire 2 is projected and withdrawn from/to the inside of the distal end of the flexible sheath 1 by an operation from the proximal end side of the flexible sheath 1. In the high frequency snare for the endoscope, at the boundary part of the rod-like electrode 4 and the snare loop wire 2, an insulation collar 5 for insulating the outer peripheral part is attached.
