<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank unit for a water heater capable of securely preventing deformation of an outer case covering a hot water storage tank if the hot water storage tank unit should be dropped during conveyance and having excellent heat-retention performance. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water storage tank unit for the water heater includes: the hot water storage tank 1 storing hot water heated by a heating means 4; a formed heat insulating material 7 covering the hot water storage tank 1; an outer case side plate 10 and an outer case top plate 11 covering the hot water storage tank 1 covered with the formed heat insulating material 7; and support members 13 installed in a space between the formed heat insulating material 7 and the outer case top plate 11 and each having one end made to abut on the outer case top plate 11 and the other end made to abut on the formed heat insulating material 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
