The present invention relates to a functional non-woven fabric using chitosan and a manufacturing method thereof. A chitosan fiber and a cotton fiber are formed into a non-woven fabric, followed by acid treatment. As a result, the chitosan contained in the non-woven fabric is gelled, and thus the gelled chitosan can directly react with the skin. Specifically, the chitosan fiber and the cotton fiber are mixed with each other, and the mixture is subjected to carding and water punching, thereby manufacturing the non-woven fabric. An acid solution of pH 2.2 to 2.9 is input onto the non-woven fabric to gel the chitosan contained in the non-woven fabric. |
