<p>A method and device of assembling a driving belt, which can fit a ring into a recess of an element easily, and which can prevent the ring from being damaged when fitting the ring into the recess of the element. A driving belt V, in which two rows of endless rings 8 are accommodated parallel to each other in a recess 7 of a plurality of elements 1 interlinked annularly in a manner to situate the recess 7 to open to an outer circumferential side, comprises: a guide face 9b, which is formed on an end face 9a of a protruding portion 9 for holding the ring 8 to prevent detachment of the ring 8 from the recess 7. The guide face 9b produces an inward component of a pushing force pushing one of the rings 8 to one of the end faces 9a, and the produced inward component of pushing force is applied to an outer lateral side 8c of the pushed ring.</p> |
