PURPOSE: An inter-cooler safety descent structure for a vehicle is provided to secure a collision space by descending an inter-cooler, attached to the lower end of a FEM carrier and a radiator through a refraction shaft, depending on the impact force in the front collision of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An inter-cooler safety descent structure for a vehicle comprises a radiator(20), an air-conditioner condenser(30), an FEM(Front End Module) carrier(40), an inter-cooler(50), a pair of mounting brackets(100) and a refraction shaft(110). The radiator is installed in the front inside an engine room(10). The air-conditioner condenser is installed in the front of the radiator. The FEM carrier is installed in the front of the air-conditioner condenser. The inter-cooler is installed in the lower part of the radiator and the FEM carrier. A pair of mounting brackets are installed in the upper end of the inter-cooler. The refraction shaft is attached onto each mounting brackets. Each refraction shaft is connected to the FEM carrier and the radiator. |
