The distributor has a bus bar for transmitting electrical energy to an installation device. The bus bar is composed of several bar modules (13) exhibiting two parallel individual bars, which are connected together with the aid of one or more connecting modules. The bar modules are formed in a plate-shaped manner, and have an individual bar for a protective earthing conductor. The bar module is integrated in partition walls (8, 9) that are provided between distributor fields (10, 11, 12). The bars are arranged to be arbitrarily horizontal or vertical.
