The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a customized exhibit image. The system comprises: a user terminal for transmitting, via a network, a personal gallery exhibit image selected by a user and setting information about the personal gallery and displaying a personal gallery service screen received via the network; and an exhibit image providing device for storing and managing the personal gallery exhibit image received via the network and the setting information about the personal gallery, and providing a personal gallery service screen for a user terminal by generating a screen which displays an exhibit image selected by the user according to the gallery setting information if the user requests a personal gallery service. Therefore, when an exhibit image is displayed in a cyber space, a user is able to collect and appreciate exhibit images which the user want in the cyber gallery. Furthermore, the system provides a user with customized information by collecting user information about exhibitions and exhibit sales, and ranking information about exhibits introduced in a cyber gallery by collecting recommendation ranking information of each work.
