PURPOSE: An apparatus for blocking pressure waves generated in an underground platform is provided to cut off the delivery of the pressure waves to the platform where passengers wait. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for blocking pressure waves generated in an underground platform comprises cutoff doors(110,110a) and barrier walls. The cutoff doors are installed in the railroad inlet and outlet of the underground platform to reduce the pressure waves generated in the operation of subways. The barrier walls partition a driving section of a railroad and a stopped section of the railroad. Barrier wall cutoff doors are installed at both ends of the barrier walls.
