<p>A case for a portable electronic device comprises: a first protection cover unit equipped to cover a first portion of the rim of the portable electronic device, the first protection cover unit having a wire embedded therein; a first connection unit, equipped on one end of the first protection cover unit, comprising a first connection terminal which is connected to the wire of the first protection cover unit and connectable to a connection port of an external electronic device; and a second connection unit, equipped on the other end of the first protection cover unit, comprising a second connection terminal which is connected to the wire of the first protection cover unit and connectable to the connection port of the external electronic device. The case for a portable electronic device can prevent a portable electronic device from being damaged by external impact. Furthermore, the case for a portable electronic device has an effect of convenient use in that as the case per se functions as a connection cable, the case can be easily separated from a portable electronic device, if required, so as to connect the portable electronic device to an external electronic device for transceiving data or charging the portable electronic device, without the need to carry a separate connection cable.</p> |
