The present invention relates to technology about a power converting system and a method thereof and, more particularly, to the technology to convert power which is supplied from a plurality of generators by using a plurality of power converting modules. The present invention converts the power by corresponding to the type of the supplied power by using the power converting modules which process various types of supplied power and applies a middle connection unit which selectively connects the generator to the power converting module to stably supply the power by using another power converting module if one power converting module is trouble. Thereby, the stability of the system is reinforced by forming a flexible processing path about the power and continuously converting the power through another path even though the power converting modules are partially trouble.
