Disclosed is a point exchange service providing apparatus. The point exchange service providing apparatus comprises: a communication unit for network communications; a point storage unit in which respective points possessed by a member are stored; member company information storage unit in which information about a plurality of member companies providing a royalty-point service depending on a goods purchase is stored; and a control unit which obtains account information of a logged-in member who is registered in a server of at least one member company among the plurality of member companies from a communication terminal of the logged-in member through the communication unit, obtains information of points possessed by the logged-in member stored in the server of the member company using the obtained account information, provides the obtained information about points to the communication terminal, and accumulates at least some of the points possessed by the logged-in member in the point storage unit or subtracts the at least some of the points from the points stored in the point storage unit according to a point exchange request from the communication terminal for providing the at least some of the points to the server, thereby performing a point exchange. |
